"So Deep in My Heart " was created for a Black History Month Exhibition. Artists were ask to create statement pieces depicting the history of Black people, our struggles and triumph. So Deep in My Heart is a phrase taken from the civil right anthem "We Shall Overcome." It speaks to the how firm Black people during the height of the civil rights movement were regarding their survival and that the movement would make a difference. This is a limited edition print..
